Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer in the shade 'Ivory 01'

In search for a new concealer for the spring and summer months? I think I have the one for you! I'm becoming more and more in love with Bourjois and their products. This concealer is no exception.

With a similar sleek packaging to the lip velvets, this concealer comes in rather a big tube, with a frosted glass effect on the outside. It's unbelievably classy and appears to be high-end. The packaging for a start gets a 10/10.

Unfortunately, for you more tanned and dark skinned girls, there aren't that many shades for you. Which is different for Bourjois as they don't often cater to pale skin girls. There are three shades in the selection, with ivory being the lightest. It's perfect for pale girls like me, but also it that ever so slightly lighter which really does give a radiant effect when applied.
It isn't an overly thick consistency, but not enough to say it's watery. But it blends amazingly well and interestingly...smells amazing! (As most of their products do).
Due to it not being overly thick, it will of course not completely cover up extremely dark circles, as it is more a of a light reflecting concealer. However, it still does a pretty good job - I was impressed! It lasted for an extremely long time. After 8 hours, a lot of it was still in place, It did begin to clump and dry a little at this point but not tremendously. I would be lying to say it won't crease. Because I think all concealers crease if you smile a lot! However, this one doesn't crease as much as most concealers. It does quite a good job!

For £7.99 (I purchased at Superdrug) I think this is quite worth the price. It definitely is radiant, it looks amazing on the skin and has such sleek packaging. For such a blendable and affordable concealer, I say give it a try!

Is that...the sun? Better grab those Primark sunglasses.

I do that thing every year, when the sun comes out. I go rummaging through my things trying to find 1 pair of sunglasses when I know in fact, I have about 50. Therefore, to keep up the annual tradition, it's only right I buy another pair of sunglasses.

I found this stylish pair at Primark! For only £1 and it comes with a little cloth case. For an extremely affordable pair, they're really comfortable and look amazing.

Bring on the sun I say!

Superdrug Vitamin E Skincare Moisture Boost Facial Serum and Toning Mist

In need of a new toner or facial serum but not willing to break the bank? I think it's time you give Superdrug a try. Their Vitamin E skin care line is one of the best things I've stumbled upon in a loooong time! It's affordable, but does a great job.

I found with toners, they can be a bit too much in your skincare routine. So when I saw there was a toner mist, I grabbed it and threw it in my basket. I find it refreshing in the morning as a little "wake me up" or to freshen up tired or dry skin.

The serum is amazing. It doesn't feel heavy or clog my skin. Definitely a light-weight serum, which is perfect just before bed. The vitamin E in the products really helps to nourish the skin and put the moisture back into that dull and dry winter face.

The smell of these is a fresh scent, nothing overly potent and they come in sturdy packaging. Perfect for on the go!

For person with a budget...I'd give it a try!

Fake lashes? Nah, Falsifeye! Seventeen's Falsifeye HD Mascara*

Seventeen's Falsifeye HD Mascara in "Blackest Black"

I often don't wear mascara as I am luckily blessed with naturally long, black eyelashes...every girls' dream! However, there are those moments after applying too much powder, wearing eyeshadow and when your eyelashes annoyingly decide to bend in that awkward kink position - you need a good coat of mascara.
Finding a decent mascara is a nightmare. I myself am an eye rubber. Therefore I struggle to find a good solid mascara that doesn't smudge and keeps my eyelashes looking lengthy for...a good length of time.
The Seventeen Falsifeye HD mascara was one that I felt like needed trying. After not trying a Seventeen mascara before, I've gotta give them a shot at impressing me!

Seventeen's packaging for a start is probably one of my favourite from a beauty brand! It's so quirky and cute, something that definitely catches my eye and helps me find it when I misplace it! The brush is another thing I found interesting. It's a plastic wand and has fewer 'bristles' which I find definitely gives great definition and length for that real 'HD' look. Even though it's meant to look fake, below is a picture after an application and for one coat, it actually looks quite natural! I could easily wear this everyday. Whether or not it gave volume...I'm not too sure.

As you can see, it really did lift my eyelashes and gave a good curl, making me look more awake and hiding the pressed powder that fell onto my lashes! The mascara didn't clump (as you can see below), gave great length and had a really dark black colour which I love in a mascara! As I rub my eyes a lot and usually through general wear, most mascaras fall onto my undereyes and give that panda/raccoon look which for me...isn't entirely the desired look. This was the opposite! It didn't flake, leave a residue or smudge one bit! However, as it is colder weather, I have not tested this mascara in warmer weather or when I am a bit warmer, therefore I can only recommend this in dry and cooler weather!
Results: Left eye - Mascara, Right eye - No mascara
Overall, I think that the results are pretty impressive - wouldn't you agree? For £6.99, I really do think this is one of the best budget mascaras available!

Seventeen kindly donated samples for this blog post. Opinions are all my own.
