Beauty Bite: Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick by Kate Moss in Shade '101'

Everyone kept raving about the Kate Moss lipsticks, and for a lipstick lover like me I had to go and get one. I'm a big lover of matte lipsticks and this was one of the nicest shades out of the original collection and the matte line.

 It's a lovely natural pink colour that you could easily wear on an everyday basis. It seems like one of those 'my lip colour but better' kind of shades. I absolutely adore it! It glides on lovely, it doesn't tug at my lips or cling to any dry patches at all. For a matte lipstick it's such a nice creamy consistency.

I wore it on a night out to the local pub and it stayed on the whole night and even me walking there and back in the rain. So it seems weatherproof too! It truly is long lasting as the name suggests.

 It has a bit of an odd smell. It smells sort of like berries but a bit of a chemically smell. One minute I like the smell, the next I don't. It's a bit hit and miss.

 The only real problem I have with this lipstick is that on the inside of my bottom lip, the lipstick started to form a sort of line. This may have been due to the weather at the time so I will re-try it and keep you posted as to whether or not it happens again. But essentially this is a gorgeous shade and the perfect natural look lipstick. I paid £5.49 for this at Superdrug which I think is a reasonable price!

Beauty Bite: My Most Recent Purchases!

So this is kind of a mini haul which I've decided to name 'My most recent purchases'

As you can see, I've bought 4 things recently that I feel that the beauty blogging world needs to know about!

 The Body Shop had a sale and I have a weakness for that place. This is the 'Vineyard Peach' body butter which I believe originally was £13 but when I bought it, it was £5! Everyone knows how amazing these body butters are. They're super moisturing, good value for money and most importantly, it doesn't react with my sensitive skin! The smell of this is actually gorgeous, I wish I picked up more than one! I literally cannot stop smelling it or applying it. Too good!

So for those of you who have already read my review, you know how I feel about this product! It's Lush's 'No Drought' dry shampoo. Essentially, it's one of the best purchases I've ever made in my opinion.

 As I've already mentioned, I have very sensitive skin. In fact, recently I haven't been able to use most shower gels which is quite odd. I've unfortunately been reacting to them so I thought where else better to go to get shower gel that I won't react to than The Body Shop! This is the strawberry shower gel which is soap-free! So for all you fellow sensitive skin folks, this is definitely okay for you to use! I've tried and tested it! I feel refreshed after using it and it smells amazing. My flatmates love it so much they've been trying to steal it to use themselves as it smells so nice. This cost me £4 :)

 Now, I've not tried the original Kate Moss lipsticks as I can't quite find a shade in the collection that I think would suit me. However, I came across her matte collection in partnership with Rimmel London. I purchased the shade '101' which is an everyday natural nude/pink shade. On my skin tone it comes out rather pink but I believe on other people it comes out more of a nude colour. This is fantastic! It's long lasting, doesn't dry out your lips, is the perfect everyday colour and is such a reasonable price. However, I will say I'm on the fence about the smell. It has sort of a fruity berry smell but I'm not overly keen on it. I will be doing a full review on this soon so stay tuned for a review!

Beauty Bite: Pig Nail Art

Here's another nail art tutorial for you and this time it's farm animal related...It's pig nail art!

Want to have cute piggies on your nails? Look no further!

Step 1: Apply a basecoat or clear coat to protect your nails and prevent the nail polish from staining your nail
Step 2: Using the brush of your lightest pink shade, sweep it across 2/3 of your nail having a slightly round shape. This will be the head
Step 3: Then using a darker pink, do the same as step 2 but slightly smaller so it only covers the first 1/3 of your nail (The tip) After that, using a dotting tool (Or something to create this shape) take the same darker pink nail polish and create triangles for the ears.
Step 4: Using an even darker pink/purple, use the dotting tool to create to dots at the end of your nail for nostrils.
Step 5: Create black dots for the eyes and add a top coat!
