Primark Jewellery

Here are some pieces of jewellery and accessories currently stocked at Primark which I think are affordable and perfect to wear with so many choices of outfits!
First is this cute little handbag mirror for only £1! It comes in a variety of designs, but this one was my favourite and caught my eye! It's a sturdy mirror, so no need to worry about it being broken.

Next is this sparkly gem! It's a gold curved necklace with sliver glitter in the middle which I think is perfect for wearing with plain black jumpers (I bought a black jumper at Primark for £5 and they go perfectly together!). It could go with so many items of clothing, so for £3, it's worth purchasing.

Next is my favouriteeee of them all! This cute, colourful, floral statement necklace is perfect for plain tops and shirts but also great to pair with a patterned top with one of these many colours in! I love to wear this top with my Primark blue striped tee. I bought this for £4, which I just couldn't say no to. Such a gorgeous design!

This necklace cost me £3 and is great again, with basically anything. That statement silver metal goes with any colour, pattern or style. I love that it doesn't have a chain all around and instead it's a strip of metal which makes it look so much more classy and expensive.
Finally is this metal hair clip which was £2! Such a brilliant price for something that looks far more expensive. I've had a few compliments on this and when I told them it was Primark, they were in total shock! It works brilliantly and looks lovely in your hair!

So those are my top buys from Primark in the jewellery and accessories section, what have you bought from there recently that you're loving? Let me know!

DIY citrus sugar scrub!

So you're fed up of paying out tons of money for a body scrub or exfoliator and want to make your own. Where do you start? Right here with my step-by-step for making a citrus sugar scrub.

You will need:

  • Granulated sugar
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Orange
  • Container

First measure out 2-3 cups of sugar. You choose how much of this you wish to make. I started off with 3 cups which eventually made half of my glass jar.
Add half a cup of olive oil...
  ...and mix!
Add 2 Tablespoons of lemon juice.
Zest or grate your orange into the mixture in the bowl.
Squeeze the orange so all the juice comes out and mix it into the bowl. At this point, the mixture should be quite runny like  in the picture. Don't panic, we can change the consistency with the next step!
Add some more sugar to get it to the consistency that you would like your sugar scrub to be. I made mine quite thick.
Transfer the scrub into a jar. I chose a glass air tight container from the 99p store!

And there you have it! Simple and cheap!
I hope this sugar scrub works well for you all.

Soap & Glory's Flake Away Body Scrub

I've heard nothing but good things about Soap & Glory's bath and shower products so I had to give one a try. I love exfoliating products so their body scrubs just called to me! After having a browse through Boots, I realised they had a 3 for 2 offer on the Soap & Glory products, I leaped at the chance to pick some up. Here's 2 of the 3 I picked up which are 2 of the Flake Away body scrubs.
For a start, we'll begin with the packaging. I love the quirky, vintage packaging that S&G have designed. The pink stands out and makes you instantly realise that it's the S&G brand. In all honestly, they do look pretty on your shelf as well!

The smell of this product is gorgeous. Having an almondy smell crossed with sugar makes you want to keep scrubbing it on in the shower!
The grains aren't too rough but are harsh enough to get rid of that excess dry skin and in-grown hairs. It also is great for you tanners who need to get rid of that fake tan! It contains Shea butter which exfoliates your skin but leaving it moisturised - like a 2 in 1 product! I think this product is perfect for those who suffer from psoriasis or eczema or have irritated dry skin. This product is great for the skin and is a reasonable price (especially with the offer on at Boots!)

Have you tried Flake Away?
Let me know what you think!
