W7 Full Time Lip Colour in the shade 'Mars'*

So the lovely brand of W7 sent me their newest product to test. It's the Full Time Lip Colour!
It's essentially a duo ended product- One end is the lip stain and the other is a clear lip gloss. W7 claims that this is a long lasting product, I'll let you know what I thought of that later in the blogpost when I put this to the test! When I got this in the post, I jumped for joy! It looked amazing! I think the packaging design is gorgeous, I particularly love the different styles of fonts used on the front.

Clear gloss

Duo ended. Clear gloss and red lip stain.
So once taken out of it's plastic casing, you come to this magical lip product! (You'll see why it's magic in a bit...) You can either go matte or go glossy by using just the red lip stain on it's own or add the gloss to add a bit of a shine! I think that this is such a great aspect of the lip stain as you can get two looks with simply one product! You could even go from daytime to nighttime with a basic stroke of the gloss.

So I did a day test on this product on my Youtube channel and tested the wear of the product throughout the day to see if it really did live up to the "full time lip" that it claims to be. I followed the steps apart from adding the gloss as I wanted to simply put the red lip stain to the test.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this product really does stay!! Multiple times throughout the day I'd ask family members: "has it worn off?!" But in general, it really didn't budge. The only part of it that came off was the inner part of my bottom lip where it's a bit wet. I also mentioned in my video that it did slightly flake off but I honestly do think that that was due to dry skin on my lips rather than the product.

The colour didn't change. It didn't fade and the texture didn't change. I ate, drank and went about my daily routine without the product changing since the first application. However, even though I did mention that I loved the "matte-ness" of the lip stain, it does feel drying so it is a good idea to apply the gloss on top.

I will admit that application itself was a struggle. I didn't apply a lip liner (which was a hugeee mistake). If you're going to wear this, I strongly suggest you line your lips before application because it's a bit difficult to put on. I found it hard to get the edges even and straight which may have been easier with a lip liner. I also found that this shade for me was extremely bright and not my particular colour but for someone else I think it would be beautiful! If W7 made these in other shades, maybe a pink, I would rush out to buy straight away!
I would strongly recommend that you follow step 3 by having an oil based makeup remover because it took a hell of a scrubbing to get this bad boy off! (The staying power is remarkable).
Overall, I think it's an amazing product! It does exactly what it says it will do. It doesn't fade, doesn't bleed or smudge and it has such a beautiful look when applied. If you're looking for a bright shade of red to wear on a night out or a day where you're feeling extra confident, glide this beauty on!

Give it a try!

Garnier's Micellar Cleansing Water

After having a little conversation with a few bloggers about cleansing, skincare routines and easy makeup removal, a lot of people mentioned the suddenly popular cleansing water. I'd never tried a cleansing water before, the closest I'd come was a cleansing lotion with a similar texture to a moisturiser and I'd used a toner.

Two key brands kept having their names thrown about and popping up in our conversation. Those being Garnier and L'Oreal. I'd never really seen the hype around cleansing waters and thought they were a waste of money but yet I was convinced to buy one. Garnier was cheaper at £4.99 and also held a lot more liquid. According to the packaging, the bottle contains enough for roughly 200 uses. At first I though this was ridiculous. But then all my ideas radically transformed when I began to use the cleansing water. It removed all my makeup with about two cotton wool pads and with a small amount of the water. I was amazed! I then realised that yes, this bottle could remove your makeup around 200 times!
This formula is gentle and not irritating like a lot of makeup removal products can be for sensitive skin like mine. It doesn't have a chemically smell and it looks as if it's just water in the bottle. I can't rave about this product enough!
If you need to amp up your skincare routine or need a new way to take off your makeup, then ditch those horrible face wipes and grab yourself a bottle of cleansing water!

Have you tried this cleansing water or any other cleansing water? Let me know in the comments!

Scent Saturday: So...? In Love

I've decided to do a new series on my blog called "Scent Saturday" in which every Saturday I put up a post of a perfume, fragrance or scented product that I think is worth buying and smells amazingggg. Here's Scent Saturday #1.
It's the So...? In Love. I've always loved So...? as a brand for body sprays and the absolute favourite body spray I own is theirs in So...? In Love. Recently I took a a wander into Superdrug and this lovely little bottle was on offer for £2.99! Bargain! So I grabbed it and have used it ever since. It's a lovely fruity fragrance, smells a lot like strawberries. I love the smell and love wearing it when I want to wear a fragrance but not an expensive perfume.

So Scent Saturday #1 is dedicated to So...? In Love.

MUA's Powder Blush in the shade 'Candyfloss'

I've always seen people love MUA's blushers. In search for a new, less shimmery blush (I currently use the mosaic blush in English Rose) I stumbled upon this little beauty. Once again, MUA didn't break my bank balance as this gorgeous blusher is only £1! Who can argue with that?
There was quite a good range of colours available but this one really grabbed my attention. It's the perfect colour for getting that natural 'flush' which is what blusher is intended for. It has a slight shimmer in it, but nothing too in your face. In general, it's quite a matte blusher which is perfect for the summer.
The packaging is perfect. It's sturdy and strong so I know that it won't get broken while being battered around in my cluttered makeup bag! I also know that the lid won't come flying off either, the lid stays on strong.
Here you can see the slight shimmer.

It has a great pigmentation without having that chalky consistency. Often blushers can be chalky and dusty which can often lead to loss of pigmentation when applied. But this isn't like that. It's surprisingly creamy and blends well to give that soft blush look.

Overall, I'm in love with this blusher! It's everything you'd want for a blusher, especially when it suits so many skin types! For a pound, you can't go wrong.

Have you tried MUA's £1 blushers? What do you think of them?

F&F Galaxy Glow Face Highlighter (Pic heavy)

I've never really tried highlighters and the ones I may have quickly swatched or read about have been powder highlighters. Recently my local Tesco Extra had a sale on in the make-up aisle so I ran like lightning! I came across this little box, not really knowing what it was until I popped open the box.

Out comes this beautiful glass jar which looks unbelievably sleek and sophisticated for a supermarket brand. Then I saw it was a highlighter that was a cream which made me jump for joy!

As you can see, it's a gorgeous off-white colour with a slight bit of shimmer in which is perfect for highlighting beneath your under eye area and on the tops of your cheek bones. I was worried how this would come out. At first look I expected the product to be hard and more of a lip balm like hard consistency which would result in difficult application but this was the complete opposite!
It was smooth like a buttery/,creamy sort of texture which was a dream to apply! It wasn't greasy or overly shiny which some highlighters can be. It applied a decent amount of time, but not all day like the rest of my makeup. But it did a good job at lasting a reasonable length of time throughout the day.  I got this in the sale for about £1-£2 which I really can't complain at. It's original price and price online at Tesco is £4.75 which is such a reasonable price for such a good product in such lovely packaging.
Overall, I really love this product and I think it really is a worth while buy.
Have you bought anything from the F&F makeup line?

Barry M Matte Top Coat Nail Paint

Everywhere you look the makeup trend of 'matte-ness' (I might have just made that up) seems to be popping up in every type of makeup product. Barry M started not long ago making a line of matte nail polishes.
(You can see my review of the shade 'Vanilla' HERE)
But it can be tiring and expensive for you to buy every shade you like in a normal shiny nail polish and a matte. I know my purse was missing my pounds and pennies!
Therefore Barry M has come up with a genius solution to not only mine but many other nail polish lovers problems. The matte top coat.
This product definitely caught my eye in Superdrug while taking a unplanned stroll through the shop. However, it's £2.99 in Superdrug and £3.99 in Boots...so if you want to save some money, you know where to go!
This product is unbelievably simple to use, you really cannot go wrong! You apply a coat of your chosen nail polish and then once that is dry,  you apply a top coat of the Barry M Matte Nail Paint.
In this example I've used Collection's Hot Looks Fast Dry nail polish in a bright red shade named '29: Big Hair'.
As you can see from above, these are the results! The left is the coat of the 'Big Hair' nail polish and on the left is after the matte top coat has been applied. I loved how it turned out because I become self conscious of wearing brightly coloured nail polish but the matte top coat mutes it and makes those bright shades far more wearable. Although I would say, it really doesn't last that long because  it chips quite easily. I absolutely love this but don't expect it to last a long time.
So here's the finished nails! I can't get enough of this top coat, especially for one so affordable.
Have any of you tried this matte top coat or any other matte top coat?
Let me know in the comments!
Give it a go!

#bbloggers Collaboration

Ever wondered what the #bbloggers favourite products are? Here are a few to tell you!

1.Laura!

If I'm ever asked about my favourite product it leaves me with a puzzled look on my face. I can never think of an Ultimate favourite or a 'holy grail' product if you will. I always have a flavour of the month/week/day (yes I'm that non-commital). So when Rachel asked me I had to really think 'what am I loving at the moment? And this is what I came up with:
Displaying skin wow pic.jpg
It's the 17 3in1 Skin Wow highlighter and I am slightly in love with it at the moment. It's a pinky/silvery liquid contained in a plastic bottle with a pump top  It says you can use it either as a primer, highlighter, or my favourite way- mixed in with your foundation.

It just gives the most luminous, dewy, fresh, healthy glow (woah that was a lot of adjectives) and as I keep saying, and boring people to death with, I am so over matte skin! It doesn't make you shiny or oily looking, it doesn't look strange in pics (I'm a selfie queen so I should know) it just makes you look glowy and healthy- what more would you want at this time of the year? The best bit about it? Its £5.99 bargain or what?! So yeah, that's what I'm loving at the minute! Mind My Terrible skin!Displaying me skin wow pic.jpg

2.Meghan!

If I could use only one blush for the rest of my life it would be MAC's Peachykeen Sheertone Shimmer Blush.  This is my all time favourite blush...period...end of story. I have been using Peachykeen for over ten years now and it will forever be a staple in my makeup collection.
Peachykeen is the perfect shade - for any season, for any occasion.  As soon as I put it on my face comes alive.   This blush is nicely pigmented, velvety smooth, and easily buildable.   Plus it gives a beautiful glow to the cheeks.  It can be worn on it's own or dusted over top of cream or liquid blushes to set everything in place.

3.Lauren!

Hello there lovelies! My favourite product at the moment is without a doubt, Boots Botanics 100% rosewater toning spritz. I bought it a month or so ago in an online Boots Haul(I did a haul post on my blog if you'd like to see) and I am absolutely in love with it.

It was a little bit of an impulse buy as there was a 1/3 skincare offer on. I really wasn't expecting to enjoy using it as much as I do.

Displaying DSC_1067.jpg
I always spritz this onto my face 2 times a day, both day and night after cleansing and sometimes throughout the day to give my face an instant refresh and close those nasty pores. The main ingredient Rosewater is supposedly a healing agent which is supposedly beneficial to those that have acne prone skin which is exactly what I have. I'm always getting breakouts on my face and the Botanics rosewater toning spritz helps to heal those acne scars left after acne has disappeared without a trace and also helps in the clearing of acne too, not to mention it's extremely gentle too which is perfect considering some products exacerbate the problem.

Since using this little skincare beauty I have noticed a significant different to my skin and I am loving it! It makes me feel so refreshed and relaxed, maybe it's the scent but this stuff is amazing!

If you have acne prone-oily skin I highly recommend checking this out. You never know, you just might fall in love with it like myself.

4.Katy!

I knew instantly what product to write about when I saw Rachel's idea for a collaboration post. If you follow me on twitter or have spoken to me on twitter chats you'll probably already know which product i love and think needs more attention, but if not, meet the Max Factor CC Cream! This CC cream is just perfect for me. I'm a lover of light-medium coverage all the time, but found BB and CC creams too greasy or sheer on my skin. However, most foundations proved too thick or heavy feeling for me to use everyday. This product is easy to apply a nice, thin layer of with fingers for just enough coverage to hide my redness but still look really natural. It also is easy to build up a little with a brush into a decent, medium coverage foundation. It lasts amazingly well, has a natural finish and leaves my skin looking like my skin, but 10 times better. I love it! Great for pale girls and at less than ten pounds, it beats my beloved Armani Luminous Silk firmly into second place.
